The Digital Clean-Up: A Waste Management Revolution
One of the major municipality in the Emirate deployed our waste management platform, SUS10 to combat illegal waste dumping and optimize landfill operations. The intelligent waste management system provided end-to-end visibility across waste collection fleets and sources, enabling data-driven
enforcement. Results included reduced landfill waste, eliminated cross-emirate dumping, and faster processing through smart queue management.
Challenges
Municipality faced rampant illegal dumping as lower disposal fees attracted waste from neighboring emirates, overwhelming landfills and increasing
environmental hazards. Fragmented systems between municipal and private operators created blind spots in tracking waste sources and transporters.
Unregulated dumping of sewage and construction debris into open drains posed serious public health risks. The lack of real-time oversight made it
impossible to enforce compliance or optimize collection routes effectively.
Solution
The SUS10 Platform introduced intelligent waste tracking to monitor all collection vehicles and validate waste origins in real-time. Automated landfill gates streamlined operations while smart sensors identified illegal dumping with 95% accuracy. IoT sensors installed in waste bins kept track of waste
collected, avoiding bins being overflown. The system unified municipal and private fleets onto a single dashboard, enabling data-driven enforcement. This
closed loopholes in cross-emirate waste trafficking and optimized collection routes through predictive analytics.
